Do I need to transfer my Ticketek ticket to my buyer? 

Ticketek does not check names at the door for their events. The ticket that has been provided to the buyer in the Purchased Tickets section in the seller's name is valid for entry to their event.

Although it is not compulsory, Ticketek Share is free and only takes 2 minutes and gives the buyer a ticket in their Ticketek app. You can log in here and follow the instructions in this Ticketek FAQ to share the ticket with your buyer. 

Please note, for some high-risk events you may be required to share the ticket via Ticketek to receive your payout. You will have a call to action in your Listed Tickets section, asking you to send the ticket to your buyer. 

It says the tickets aren't available until closer to the event, what am I supposed to do? 

Some tickets aren’t released until the week of the event which means the buyer might not have received a ticket after purchase. If there is no ticket in the buyer's Purchased Tickets section, no stress! Ticketek Share can usually be used to forward the ticket prior to the tickets being made available in the app. If not, you will need to wait till closer to the event when the feature is made available.

We always recommend touching base with your buyer or seller through the buyer/seller chat to pass on any details that may be needed when ticket forward is made available. 

What do I do if I've bought a Ticketek ticket on Tixel and then re-sold it on Tixel?

Only the original ticket owner can share a ticket on Ticketek. This means if a ticket is resold on Tixel, the original seller might need to cancel and re-share it with the new buyer. While we know this might be frustrating, it’s the most secure way to ensure your payout is protected.

Everyone involved in a ticket resale chain needs to ensure the original seller transfers the ticket to the final buyer. This can be done easily through the buyer/seller chat. Don't stress—our team keeps an eye on all chats and will step in to nudge any parties if needed.
