1. Competition organiser
1.1 The “Tixel $500 Giveaway” is organised and run by Tixel Pty Ltd (ABN 88 625 710 581).
1.2 Tixel is responsible for all aspects of the competition, including the draw, winner notification and prize fulfilment.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Entry is open only to persons who:
- Are permanent residents of Australia; and
- Are aged 18 years or older as at 1 July 2025.
2.2 Employees (and their immediate families) of Tixel Pty Ltd, and agencies or companies associated with this competition, are ineligible.
3. How to enter
3.1 To enter, during the period 12:00 am AEST on 1 June 2025 to 11:59 pm AEST on 31 July 2025 (the “Promotional Period”), you must complete one of the following on Tixel:
- Buy a ticket to any event; or
- Sell a ticket to any event.
3.2 Entry is automatic upon a valid transaction. No further action is required.
3.3 If you do not wish to enter by buying or selling a ticket, you may enter for free (postage costs are the responsibility of the entrant) by sending a postcard with your full name, address, date of birth, and email to:

One postcard per entry. Free-entry entries will be treated on equal footing with paid entries.
3.4 Entrants must hold an active Tixel account registered to their own name and email in order to enter and redeem any Prize Credit.
3.5 Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotional Period.
4. Entry restrictions
4.1 Limit of one (1) entry per person. Additional transactions do not increase your chances.
4.2 Incomplete, late or ineligible entries will be void.
5. Prize
5.1 The prize is an AUD 500 credit (“Prize Credit”) redeemable on Tixel. The total prize pool is AUD 500 (five hundred dollars).
5.2 Due to operational procedures, the Prize Credit will be fulfilled as follows:
(a) Tixel staff will purchase tickets up to the value of AUD 500 on behalf of the winner for the nominated event(s).
(b) Purchased tickets will be transferred directly to the winner's nominated Tixel account.
5.3 Prize Credit conditions:
(a) Non-transferable;
(b) Not redeemable for cash;
(c) Usable across one or multiple ticket purchases until the full AUD 500 is spent;
(d) Valid for six (6) months from the date of prize notification; any unused balance then expires.
5.4 All ancillary costs remain the winner’s responsibility.
6. Winner selection & notification
6.1 The winner will be randomly selected at 12:00 pm AEST on 1 August 2025, at Tixel’s Melbourne office.
6.2 The winner will be notified by email at the address associated with their Tixel account within two (2) business days.
6.3 If the winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or does not claim the prize within the specified timeframe outlined in 6.4, Tixel will conduct a redraw. The redraw will follow the same random selection process at 12:00 pm AEST, 10 August 2025, at Tixel’s Melbourne office.
6.4 If the winner does not claim the prize credit within seven (7) days of notification (by responding to the notification email and following any provided redemption instructions), the prize will be forfeited, triggering the redraw process outlined in 6.3.
6.5 A maximum of two (2) redraws will take place. If the prize remains unclaimed after the second redraw, it will be forfeited.
7. Verification & disqualification
7.1 Tixel may verify entries and entrant eligibility.
7.2 Any breach of these terms, fraudulent activity or tampering will void the entry and may lead to disqualification.
8. Liability
Tixel accepts no responsibility for:
- Website or transaction errors;
- Any loss or damage arising from competition entry or prize use;
- Events beyond its reasonable control.
9. Privacy
9.1 Personal data is handled per Tixel’s Privacy Policy (https://tixel.com/privacy).
9.2 By entering, you consent to collection/use of your data to administer this competition.
10. Regulatory Compliance
10.1 This competition is conducted in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010) and all applicable state and territory trade promotion legislation.
10.2 No permit or authority under the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) or Community Gaming Regulation 2020 (NSW) was required because the total prize pool is below AUD 10,000. No permit is required in the Australian Capital Territory because the total prize pool is below AUD 3,000. No permit is required in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania or the Northern Territory because the prize pool is under each jurisdiction’s respective thresholds.
11. Agreement
By participating, entrants agree to these terms and Tixel’s Privacy Policy. Tixel reserves the right to amend or terminate this competition at any time, subject to applicable law.
